Booking

A vessel and space are booked and the empty container is sent to the loading point.
Loading and port

The container is loaded, verified gross mass (VGM) is declared and export steps are completed.
Ocean transport

The container is shipped, the bill of lading is issued and voyage details are shared.
Discharge and delivery

After port and customs steps, cargo is delivered to the consignee.

Should I choose FCL or LCL?

It depends on volume, budget and timing. FCL usually suits large volumes and LCL small ones. We can compare both for your shipment.

What is VGM?

Under SOLAS rules, the gross mass of a loaded container must be verified and declared before loading on the vessel.

What is a bill of lading?

The bill of lading is the sea transport document used when collecting the cargo. It can be an original, telex release or sea waybill.

What costs apply besides ocean freight?

Terminal handling (THC), delivery order and customs costs may apply at origin and destination. We list these items separately in our quote.
